New life is put into the company by one of the founders of the ‘old’ Nirvana; Harm Kwast and the former general manager Peter Zelhorst together with some investors.

Nirvana is specialized in custom build, plate folded masts according to provide the best mast available for the yacht. With this production method we reach the exact necessary inertias in the different panels.

Nirvana runs scientific-based programs, focused on rig aerodynamics and material stress characteristics and therefore able to built light hi performance masts which in some cases are less than 25 % more in weight than carbon fiber.

All types off booms can be build in aluminium as well as carbon. Nirvana distinguish itself with excellent very high standard furling/reefing booms that meets all requirements of a modern and convenient reefing system.

Nirvana supplies complete turnkey rigging packages; Design, masts, booms, sail control system, standing and running rigging.

The facility in Vollenhove, Netherlands, has the capacity to meet the requirements of all boats from 60 feet through to megayachts. The expertise required to build masts and booms is immense and the spars built by Nirvana can be seen on many magnificent yachts around the world.
